The angels are getting ready. After all, they have a very important job—to announce the birth of Jesus. Every angel knows what they are to do. Well, almost everyone. Meet Xavier. He sings off key during choir practice. He hangs upside down from clouds, irritating everyone who is serious about getting ready for the Christmas miracle. He has red, spiked hair. His halo is always askew. No gold belt around his waist; instead he uses a rope. And those red shoes and green striped socks. Not to mention his wings. What to do about Xavier! He is a mess. And what will his role be in the Angels Birthday Celebration—the story of the birthday of the savior of the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars More than a Christmas book!

This is a wonderful book which traces the announcements of the coming of the Messiah made by people from the Old Testament of the Bible and attested to by the people in the New Testament. It's also a reflection of the author's positive faith told through these stories in wonderful poetic form. The book makes the people of the Bible come alive and makes the story of Christmas real. The book is one that both young and old can read with understanding and inspiration.
